I'm Bea —
A 5th year Bachelor of Architecture student from the USC School of Architecture in Los Angeles. I was born and raised in Cebu City, Philippines, which was designated a UNESCO Creative City in 2019. In addition to the culture of craft and creativity that I carry with me, I draw from and navigate through multiple sources of influence as a Cebuana and Filipina. That design can be a strategic factor in sustainable city development is reflected in my own values as a young designer.
I see design as a dual-edged tool to initiate change and also gain a personal understanding of the world. I have a great interest in urban planning and sustainability and believe that thoughtful design elevates quality of life.
